PRECISION CUTTING
F&D has the capability and expertise to digitally create 3D props and scenery of virtually any scale and complexity – whether it is precision cutting or large and intricate 3-dimensional shapes. Our in-house CNC router has a multitude of capabilities; for precision cutting, etching, and engraving into aluminum, steel, wood, foam, sintra, acrylic and vinyl. We specialize in one-off prototypes as well as full scale custom fabrication projects.
Whatever stage your project is at, we can start from a napkin sketch or a fully developed 3D model. For projects that are 3-dimensional, we will first utilize 3D computer modelling prior to cutting material on the CNC table. The 3D model will then be digitally sliced and nested into the sheet material in order to maximize efficiency and reduce cutting time.
