About Us

For 40 years, F&D Scene Changes Ltd. has been internationally celebrated for transforming our clients’ ideas into reality. Our projects range from scenery for theatre and experiential tours, television and film to theme park elements, museum and trade show/retail displays, zoos, libraries, and shopping malls. We have fabricated and installed our products throughout North America and internationally for various clients such as Cirque du Soleil, Universal Studios, HBO, Netflix, Apple and Disney.

F&D Scene Changes is located on the edge of downtown Calgary with 65,000 square feet of shop space including overhead cranes, a drop room, CNC table, a welding shop, industrial spray booth, hardcoat booth, and more. The shop is home to multiple disciplines running the gamut of metal fabrication, carpentry, fiberglass, an enormous scenic drop shop, a sewing and soft goods area, an industrial and scenic paint booth and our design/drafting department. We operate with a base staff of approximately 120 employees, and we expand our staff as necessity dictates. F&D is proudly part of IATSE 212.
