Jason Carter Statue

Foam and hardcoat are great mediums for creating dimensional large scale sculpted pieces, just like this 5’ bear! Designed by artist Jason Carter, we produced these five bear sculptures using a smaller soapstone carving as reference.

First, the bear was digitally modeled in a 3D program where it could be sent to our CNC machine for cutting. From there, our Props & Sculpting team assembled and refined the pieces so that each bear was identical to the original sculpture. The bear was then primed and painted by our Scenic Artists using an Automotive grade paint.

These bears were shipped internationally and are part of a retail store display. As you can see, the finished product is a high-quality replica of the original.
