Land of Lemurs

F&D Scene Changes worked closely with the Calgary Zoo to create a welcoming new exhibit – The Land of Lemurs.  F&D custom fabricated the heated  baobab seed pods. These pods hung from custom “trees” (steel tube wrapped in logs).  Our crew of sculptors created 5 pods that became housing for the animals. The finish is fiber-glass and scenically painted as realistic baobab pods that Lemurs generally eat in their habitat.  The other themed features of the walk through habitat include;  log trees, benches, play structures, boardwalk handrails and textured concrete walkways.
