Gorilla Shade Structures

In 2016 The Calgary Zoo commissioned F&D Scene Changes to design, engineer, fabricate and install three structures for the gorilla exhibit.  These steel structures were themed with fiber reinforced concrete to appear as logs, and custom woven firehose hammocks provides a canopy above for the gorillas to climb, and lounge, or rest in the shade below.
